Study 500 provides an array of application solutions targeted at the preparation, delivery and
management of lesson plans and work assignments in the LAN classroom and across networks. A
suite of collaboration, message, and monitor tools facilitates the management and support of learner
activities. Plus, Study 500 integrates VOIP audio for teacher-student interpersonal communication
MULTIMEDIA INTERACTION
Study 500 creates a foundation for multimedia interaction as the teacher acts as tutor, resource and
interactive supervisor.
Learning within a tutorial environment is stimulating and productive,
and teacher control is total as it’s maintained over students' activities
and over the time allocated for tasks.
DIGITAL LEARNING RESOURCES
Sanako Study 500 is a software solution that builds a managed
learning environment by providing teachers with an array of
features that aid the preparation, delivery and management of
digital lessons within the classroom.
Lesson Plan Portfolio
Lesson plan portfolios save preparation time by linking web-
based content and other digital resources together with a lesson or
project plan in a single file.
Applications, files and web pages may be launched remotely from the
teacher computer to selected students or copied, either individually or as part of a
project folder, to automate the delivery of learning resources, tests or assignments. A suite of
collaboration, messaging and monitoring tools facilitates the management and support of activities
Controlling and Monitoring
Study 500 features include functions that allow the teacher to remotely
control and monitor student PCs, lock and unlock student workstations
and send messages to students.
Multimedia Workstations including Media Assistant Solo
Media Assistant Solo-equipped workstations may also be controlled within
the Study software network. When in the Study network, instructors
may take control of student computers, darken student monitor screens
(to get their attention), move screens between/among students, and
send the instructor screen to individuals, groups, or to the entire LAN.
WEB-BASED LEARNING RESOURCES
Study 500 allows the teacher to browse the web for suitable learning
resources from within the tutor application, and then via a single click add the web page
to the current lesson plan. Saved web pages may be subsequently launched via a single
mouse click to selected student PCs.
Adding Links
Lesson plan portfolios save preparation time by linking web-based content or other digital resources
together with a lesson or project plan in a single file. Applications, files and web pages may be
launched remotely from the tutor computer to selected students or copied, either individually or as
part of a project folder, to automate the delivery of learning resources, tests or assignments.
Controlling Web-browsing
The teacher may tailor the degree of Web access by choosing either strict or open mode when
launching Web links to students. When the links are opened in strict mode, the students are allowed
to access only those Web sites included in the lesson plan portfolio.
