STUDY 300: MANAGING, TRACKING, CONTROLLING, AND EVALUATING
THE USAGE OF EVERY PC ON THE NETWORK
MANAGED LEARNING SOLUTIONS
Today's self-access learning centers must accommodate the different cognitive abilities, skills,
habits, and attitudes of every student, as well as the different needs, interests and learning styles.
That's why there is Study 300 management and control software to help you manage it all.
LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Study 300 provides a management solution and
simultaneously optimizes the performance of an
information technology infrastructure. And Study
300 is a great facilitator. By providing an on-line
library of resources, students are encouraged to
structure their own learning through research,
discovery and exploration.
MediaManager
Study 300 facilitates organization by cataloging and
classifying learning resources in the Study 300
MediaManager. MediaManager includes a set of
templates to allow easy creation of a directory
structure for shared learning resources. The
flexibility of Media Manager ensures that resources are always made available to meet the unique
needs of individual institutions and learners.
MediaFinder
Study 300 MediaFinder provides quick and easy access to learning resources cataloged in the
MediaManager database. Material is accessed either by browsing through the directory or by using
the built-in search engine. Study 300 MediaFinder then enables the student to preview, launch or
download the material as well as add to a personal collection.
ResourceManager
At the heart of Study 300 ResourceManager is the student database which contains core personal
data. In addition to the personal data fields, ResourceManager includes options to allocate
individual students to a faculty, department, or campus, and to a program of study or semester
group. Individual students may also be assigned to multiple courses or subjects.
Study 300 ResourceManager also tracks the use of connected workstations to provide a summary
of activity on the network, including the number of students logged on, the average session time as
well as details of the location of the most popular workstations.
